Ford Focus MK2 RS – CP3/CP420 Software

Description

Launched in 2011 our CP3/CP420 software is our ultimate evolution of the family of RS MK’2 software’s which we started development on back in 2011

Power figures have varied slightly between the test development cars

• BHP  417-435 bhp
• Torque  420-423 lb ft

The CP3/CP420 software maximises the safe limits of the engine internals/software and sensors

Boosting to 1.8 bar peak and revving to 7800 rpm this software requires certain mandatory hardware upgrades to have been installed to enable the software to achieve the quoted figures (See List below)

We offer two version of this software CP3/340 regular which offers a very smooth progressive power delivery and CP3/340 HT which offers a more aggressive punchy power delivery

*The CP2/CP420 software is also ‘Decat Enabled’ which means the MIL light will not come on if you install a decat exhaust and we also offer a ‘mild’ pop and bang option.

*The software rev limit is raised to 7800 rpm and is available with a ‘mild’ overrun pop and bang option. The pop and bang is activated when the engine speed exceeds 4000 rpm and the throttle lifted off and then slightly applied

1. Process Overview
   1. Install iflash program onto laptop
   2. Connect laptop to vehicle using iflash connector
   3. Follow onscreen instructions to read a copy of the vehicle’s current software
   4. Email a copy of the file to Collins Performance
   5. Collins Performance send back correct upgrade file
   6. Once you have received the upgrade file reconnect laptop to vehicle & Install upgrade file

   1. You can return the vehicle back to standard at any time using iflash kit
   2. You can purchase further upgrade files (ie CP1 to CP2 upghrade) which can be emailed direct to you and installed using the iflash kit
   3. The iflash connector ‘locks’ to the vehicle and can not be used with any other vehicle
   4. We update the iflash operating program every 6 months (1^st Jan/1^st June) – the updated program is available as a download from our CP web site support page
