Ford Focus Mk3 ST250/2.0 Ecoboost Turbo Actuators
We are now pleased to announce the launch of our specially developed Ford Focus ST250/2.0 Ecoboost turbo wastegate actuator. This product is offered as a direct replacement part and offers improved mid range and top end boost control over the unreliable standard part.
Over the last 3-4 years we have seen many Focus MK3 ST250’s suffering with under boost problems and the factory actuator not having any adjustment left on the actuator rod to allow workshops to reset them. Some have resulted in the wastegate valve burning out due to the lack of tension.
For over 25 years Collins Performance has been manufacturing upgraded Actuators for use on the Sierra & Escort Cosworth engines.
This new design has been specifically developed & tested for use on the Focus MK3 ST250’s in conjunction with both standard software and our Collins Performance CP software upgrades. However this product should also be suitable for use with most other aftermarket software upgrade and alternative springs are available – Please check with your supplier for further information
The actuator is manufactured from HE30 aluminium with a stainless steel bracket and features a 50 mm piston and a progressive spring for superior boost control. This product is available in Blue, Silver, Red or Black finishes.
