Collins Performance Focus mk2 ST 225 Actuator

We are pleased to announce the launch of our specially developed Focus ST225 (05-11) turbo waste gate actuator, offering improved mid range and top end boost control & performance.

For over 25 years Collins Performance has been manufacturing upgraded Actuators for use on the Sierra & Escort Cosworth engines.

This new design has been specifically developed & tested for use on the Focus ST225 using our Collins Performance CP Level 3 software upgrades. However this product should also be suitable for use most other aftermarket software upgrade – Please check with your supplier for further information.

The actuator is manufactured from HE30 aluminium with a stainless steel bracket and features a 50 mm piston and a progressive spring for superior boost control. This product is available in Blue, Silver, Red or Black finishes.

Mercedes C450 AMG Biturbo (2015on) – RENNtech ECU upgrade

The RENNtech ECU Upgrade is the ideal complement for the M276 engine from Mercedes in the new C 400 BiTurbo. This upgrade provides an enormous increase in performance over the entire speed range, without compromising ride comfort or everyday reliability. Their product achieved the highest increase in performance in the market, with an impressive 402bhp and 454ftlb to the crankshaft.

Standard Power: 362bhp at 5500-6000, 384ftlb at 1800-4000

Modified Power: 402bhp at 5300, 454ftlb at 3200

Ford Focus MK2 ST225 – CP3/CP340 Software

Launched in 2015 our CP3/CP340 software is our ultimate evolution of the family of ST225 software’s which we started development on back in 2005

Power figures have varied slightly between the test development cars

BHP 343-349bhp (295-301bhp at the wheels)
Torque 400 – 410 lb ft

The CP3/CP340 software maximises the safe limits of the engine internals/software and sensors

Boosting to 1.38 bar and revving to 7800 rpm this software requires certain mandatory hardware upgrades to have been installed to enable the software to achieve the quoted figures (See List below)

*The software rev limit is raised to 7800 rpm and is available with a ‘mild’ overrun pop and bang option. The pop and bang is activated when the engine speed exceeds 4000 rpm and the throttle lifted off and then slightly applied

Process Overview
1. Install iflash program onto laptop
2. Connect laptop to vehicle using iflash connector
3. Follow onscreen instructions to read a copy of the vehicle’s current software
4. Email a copy of the file to Collins Performance
5. Collins Performance send back correct upgrade file
6. Once you have received the upgrade file reconnect laptop to vehicle & Install upgrade file

Notes/FAQ
1. You can return the vehicle back to standard at any time using iflash kit
2. You can purchase further upgrade files (ie CP1 to CP2 upghrade) which can be emailed direct to you and installed using the iflash kit
3. The iflash connector ‘locks’ to the vehicle and can not be used with any other vehicle
4. We update the iflash operating program every 6 months (1^st Jan/1^st June) – the updated program is available as a download from our CP web site support page
