Mercedes SL65 AMG (2003-2006) – RENNtech Performance Package – Stage 2

The stage 2 performance package for the Mercedes 600 V12 series engine includes RENNtech’s proprietary ECU upgrade,  in addition to their higher efficiency charge cooler pump, their 3pc. full carbon fibre airbox kit, offering even more inlet air flow and better engine breathing at higher RPMs. The RENNtech airbox is more than just a stunning engine compartment accessory; it is a functional work of art crafted from the highest quality materials and finished in a brilliant clear coat for years of durability.

This combination that provides noticeable increases horsepower, torque and throttle response across the vehicles entire powerband while still maintaining daily driver reliability.

Stage 2 Performance Package includes:

Mercedes S65 AMG Coupe (2014on) – RENNtech Torque Converter Upgrade

While slippage in the torque converter is important under acceleration, this slippage becomes a liability once cruising speed is achieved. The lock-up clutch controls this slippage and creates a solid connection between the engine and transmission. If the load on the clutch is too much, slippage can occur leading to excessive heat and wear.

The RENNtech lock-up clutch upgrade uses a multi-element clutch upgrade with additional layer of friction material between the clutch plate, better friction material on the clutch face and a larger surface area of friction material to help control slippage. This allows for better heat management and increased holding power.

CP3 Package – Fiesta Mk8 ST

We are pleased to announce our CP3 package for the Fiesta MK8 ST, the CP3 package has been developed in conjunction with Turbo Technics utilising there all new S285 turbocharger.

Power has been increased by wheel power +80 Bhp and + 80 Lb-ft over the standard software based on our drivetrain percentage calculation (8%) this to just under 290bhp at the engine however using other tuners drivetrain calculation (15%) this calculates to over 300bhp at the engine

Our latest upgrade compares well to some of our direct competitors wheel power claims for similar turbo upgrade.

The all new S285 turbo is exclusive to Collins Performance and features a bespoke uprated motorsport specification bearing pack with a thicker uprated shaft for reliability and durability. It utilises a larger compressor wheel matched to a bigger ‘full blade’ turbine wheel with no requirement of cut back blades – offers excellent boost & performance characteristics.

The CP3/TT package has been extensively tested over a period of over 12 months and 1000’s of miles on the test development cars to ensure reliability and performance.

To run the CP3 package your engine will require forged pistons and uprated con rods – call/contact us for further information

During the development process each of the development turbo’s where frequently stripped and checked for wear etc. This package includes the following

• Airtec Induction Kit

There are 3 ways to purchase your new turbocharger

  1. Outright Purchase New
  2. Exchange Basis (send turbo after) – You will pay the same as the outright purchase but when you return your old standard turbocharger we will refund £1050 to your account)
  3. Exchange Basis (send turbo before) – You will have to return your standard turbo to us before we send your hybrid out
